Setup involves:

a. make sure it runs on your dos machine first, use the manual!
b. make sure the directorys the program uses ars present in the Ogo (you can change this later but a running start is the best unless you want to begin with answsring questions)
c. put the line: SET COMSPEC=A:\COMMAND.COM in your autoexec.bat
d. load the textmode driver OGTEXT
e. load the OGMODE program so you'll be able to view the whole screen (while off-line ofcourse
f: put NETTAMER.EXE on a diet

Why do you need COMSPEC=A:\COMMAND.COM in your autoexec.bat?
The program shells to DOS to start the text editor; it needs to know where to find command.com or you'll end up with a blank screen and a barely visible cursor.

Space consderation:

USENET
once you retrieve the list of newsgroups you'll notice you've lost 250+ Kbytes.
So dont use 'UPDATE GROUP LIST'!
Instead download the list on a desktop PC, throw it in you're favorite editor, sort, clean up and drop the resulting file in you're Ogo.

EXE file size
the two exe files are 422K, after using the 'diet' program there's only 260K left.

Total size
If you add the other necessary files you end up on 350K for the total program.

Nice things
Once you've saved outgoing mail or usenet posts you can edit them in Geos.
All lists (adresses, newsgroops) are editable also.

Not so nice
The screen blanks while you're on line, I thins this has to do with the DTR-ready signal which is being sent to the modem. The Ogo uses this signal for the screen (contrast rsgulation?).

It's not possible to save mail without headers, this way you have to edit them to get rid of them (else your tiny ram fills up fast.

After two weeks of use this is about it.

Good luck, keep fresh batteries ready!
