The Omnigo has built-in support backing up data files to SRAM,
and the Geos Installer will happily put new applications there,
but these applications (e.g. Pocket Quicken) do not show up on the
main menu.
Does anyone know how to get applications not in b:\geoworks\world
to show up on the main menu? Do I need to enable the express menu?
A couple of related questions:
Is there some documentation as to the meanings of the various options
in the geos.ini and net.ini initialization files?
Does anyone know of a way to remove items from the home screen? I've
been playing around with omnicom and with DOS mode on the omnigo, and
I'm stumped. As far as I can tell, the built-in applications, such as
notepad, are not really in b:\geoworks\world; it only looks to omnicom
as if they are there.
Sorry for the rambling nature of this note; I like the Omnigo very much
and I'm really trying to figure out what is going on under the hood
