Thought I would have a go at making a serial cable. I have found the
pin outs described, but am not sure... Is there no need for any level
converting/clipping, standard +-12V?
(Scared of frying my ogo!)
Also, is the cable different for connecting to a pc versus a modem? I
just found references to nullmodem cable/adapters, no detailed diagrams.
(I felt much safer making cables for my now pensioned M100, cost me
just USD 15!)
So, for cable connection, ogo to DB-25:

5 gnd 7 gnd
7 rts ? What goes here?
8 cts ? What goes here?
For modem connection, ogo to DB-25:

Is there only hardware handshaking?
Can anybody give such a correct, detailed spec and put it in the faq?
This was a lot, but it would be nice to get it connected... :-)
