I am entering my third month as an OmniGo 100 (ogo) owner and have
followed the mailings re batteries with great interest. The solution
I propose is not for the faint hearted or those with warranty still
to run.
Re wire the leads to the 2X AA cells via a ultra-min switch
positioned to operate on insertion of the serial lead.

Make up a serial lead to supply power on pins 1 and 4 of the ogo from
a 3V mains adaptor.

Suitable bits from Radio Spares.

Let me know if it works, i'll have a go next year !
