HP Omnigo Link to Windows

Is anyone out there having serious troubles making HP Omnigo Link to Windows
synchronize consistently with either Lotus Organizer 2.1 or even the HP PIM
apps? I am having a hell of a time, since I get error messages after
successfully syncing a few times like:

Unable to access file.
Translation Canceled!

I have a huge amount of room on my computer, so that's not a problem. I
have memory left on my Omnigo, plus a 2 Meg SRAM card. I'm pretty computer
literate so I doubt that's the issue. Do the HP PIM apps like appt book and
phone book have a maximum database size that they can effectively deal with?

Is there a bug fix out there?
