#1-800-7PC-NEWS
Thanks to all who provided me with the necessary phone number for Xpress.
I talked to a young lady who seemed very knowledgeable and is sending me
some literature. She was able to take my zip code and immediately tell
me that indeed my cable company carried the Xpress signals. I have never
seen this mentioned in any of their literature.
The cost is still $150 for the converter box and software. You also get
a splitter so you can hook into your cable somewhere without having to
add extra outlets if you don't want too. There is no subscription fee
and you can't rent a converter from Xpress. Maybe some cable companies
who market the service might lease converters. Mine doesn't even seem
to know that it exists. Knock, knock. Hello Jones Intercable, anybody
there?
