For those who might be setting up a netnews interface and are wondering
about disk space, here is the output from "ndu" after pumping X*Press
articles into my netnews system since about 8PM last night (roughly 18 hours
ago). ndu's output shows the size in KB, number of articles, and oldest
age in days, for each subdirectory.

256 96 0 ./news/usa
1196 746 0 ./news/world
86 22 0 ./news/editorial
212 94 0 ./news/business
243 93 0 ./entertainment
734 643 0 ./weather
25 10 0 ./shopping
275 71 0 ./lifestyles
21 7 0 ./tech
317 196 0 ./xchange
111 43 0 ./xpress
1 2 0 ./unknown
25 15 0 ./finance

Totals are:

3502 2308

It's not as bad as I thought. It will be interesting to see what accumulates
over a period of days. I seem to be missing some stuff -- like xpress.sports,
for example. It's also pretty clear to me that some of the newsgroups need
to be more deeply categorized (news.world has 746 articles!).
