Interfacing with Novell Netware

As a brand-new subscriber to the list, I see that the hot topic is
interfacing X*Press-X*Change with other kinds of systems than the
standalone home PCs that the company envisioned.

Here at UW-Superior, we decided to try to interface the service
with our Novell campus network. Our computer folks set it up to
dump files into some kind of a freeware database-type program, which
worked OK but not great.

It's been off-line recently due to a problem with the MA/Com decoder,
but that now has been fixed.

Anyone else tried this approach...any better sorting/organizing/
data managing programs to recommend?
