Printing field contents didn't seem like a very useful feature so we
omitted it. If you just want to print out the text, it would be much
better to write a little script that writes the contents of each field
out a file which you can then run through nroff/troff. At least you
have some control over the formatting that way. If you wanted to get
fancy, your script could even write out nroff/troff commands before
each field to change the font sizes and styles.

documentation in the Help stacks, nicely formatted and indexed. For
details, see the ordering forms from "Licensing" in the MetaCard help
menu.
