-> Solaris 2.3 and 2.4, possibly also SGI IRIS and RS/6000: EPS objects
-> don't display properly. Type the following into the Message Box: "go
-> to card 15 of stack mcdemo". Does the EPS object redraw? When you
-> change the settings on the scrollbars, does it redraw each time?

Yes, fine. This is 2.3, showrev attached. I use -pointer under olvwm.

The scrollbars are screwy though - they drag just fine but if you click
to the left of the 'elevator' in the top bar, it jumps AWAY from you to
the right! Clicking to the right of the 'elevator' cause it to jump left.

The same happens on the second scrollbar; the third one works exactly as
expected (click to the left - go left) but the fourth one is wrong as well.

The scrollbars on cards 12 and 18 work fine.

-> Solaris 2.3 and 2.4: the arrow buttons for navigating in mcdemo which
-> should be drawn with a yellow background sometimes have other colors
-> instead.

The arrows on card 15 have a deep blue background. The rest of the card is
a fairly pale blue. The stripe at the bottom is black with a deep blue
moire pattern (or random scribble) on it. The arrows flash orange (the
colour of the help button?) when pressed.

The arrows on many of the other cards (i.e. all the ones I looked at) also
have a deep blue ground.

I though this was a colourmap problem and killed off Netscape (a well know
colour hog). This did not change the colour of the arrows; but it did fix
card 16: when Netscape was running, card 16 was not drawn correctly: the
background to the left of the tree was not black but white. Needless to say,
the white text ('MetaC', 'to link', 'Errors' etc) did not show! This was
not reproducible: starting Netscape & mc again simply caused the 'inverted'
text on card 16 to be displayed black on deep gray rather than black on white.
However, the popup explanation fields had the same foreground and background
colours, so no text was visible there.

Hope this helps,

Rgds,
Jerry
