I would not like to say that MS-windows is perfect, but, anyway,
they use shift-click for multiple contiguous selection, and
control-click for multiple noncontiguous selection.
Since you will have to port to MW-windows, sooner or later (;->),
wouldn't be better to have a good start?
By the way, I find the choice of control-click for clone and drop
a bit uninspired; I would prefer meta-D, or meta-C + meta-V,
as in Mac and Windows.
