Your input on the MetaCard stack contest

MetaCard Corporation will be having a stack contest to encourage
thorough testing of the beta release, but there are a few issues that
need to be resolved before we announce the details. Your input on
these issues is requested.

1) Can we give out prizes to the individuals who win, or should the
prizes be given to their organizations? (In many cases the
organization will have paid to develop the stack)

2) Should we accept stacks that would require a non-disclosure
agreement? (This makes running the contest more trouble, but might
allow participation from organizations that otherwise won't be able
to)

3) Should we require that the stacks be publicly distributable? (we
certainly don't have any intentions to sell your work, but we'd like
to expand the contrib directory so that others can see what can be
done in MetaCard, and maybe learn some things about how to do them)

You're certainly welcome to reply to this message and have everyone
read your response, but a separate message to raney@metacard.com may
be more appropriate. Feel free to make other suggestions about how
the contest should be organized.
Thanks for your input,
Scott
