USED SRAM, BUT THOUGHT IT WAS NEW

Let's assume your purchased card was probably a returned product from an
ordering error (especially if the battery measures as 'new'). Best of luck with
your great deal. When ordering cards next time, confirm new/used and, more
importantly, if card size being purchased is the un-compressed size. Some
companies will advertise card size compressed for the price to appear low.
Buyer Beware! (or is it buyer be-wear)
SRAM cards do have a read/write life, equal to the battery life. Remember to
always have a spare and change the battery every 10-12 months.
bye for now,
john
