Except if you drop it or damage it yourself in which the TSP does NOT cover
it. You will have to pay the bill yourself in that case. Many Radio Shack
salesmen have told me otherwise but when we went over the TSP together it
became clear TO THEM that damage is not covered. I found this out the hard
way when I dropped a covered piece of Tandy electronics, it quit working, I
brought it in (proud to have purchased the TSP), they checked it out,
declared that I must've dropped it and that it was therefore not covered by
the TSP. I was hopping mad because I had specifically asked the salesman
about that when I bought the warranty. My wife still won't let me buy
anything from the Shack because of the money they cost me on that deal (I
was ready to forgive and forget). But if the screen calibration goes haywire
or the ROM glitches out it would be nice to have it covered. I personally
will take it as a sign from God that I shuld try the OmniGo or the Next
thing after that (using my old Wizard 9600 while I wait).
