Zomer/Newton

I agree with you wholeheartedly regarding the DOS filesystem that is on the
Zoomer. I only wish that I could get accessories for my Newton as cheaply as
I can get them for my Zoomer. For the Newton to be as capable as my Zoomer
already is, I would have to buy the following: Parallel printer cable-$90,
PCMCIA FAX/modem-$180, PC connection kit-$95, and a 2MB storage card-$130. I
have all of these capabilities already with my Zoomer and it only cost $130
for the accessories. Unfortunately, while the Newton was obtained for a
tremendous price ($149), the accessories are still FULL price!!! All in all,
I like the Zoomer FAR more than the Newton. I was also wondering if anyone
has attempted a IR transfer between a Newton and a Zoomer, or if anyone
knows whether or not it is even possible.
