Serial Cable?

I have just purchased a closeout unit of Zoomer from
Radio Shack. I checked with them in the availability of
a serial cable to hookup to my PC. Item 25-3101 is not
available. This is the serial cable for PC hookup. All that
was available was item 25-3106, Modem cable. Can this
be used to hook to my PC, or what else would I needed.
In checking Radio Shack's national inventory, only 3
assessories are available. The modem cable, 2400 baud
modem, item 25-3105, and only 10 more PalmConnect
packages, item 25-3109. I have seen that the PalmConnect
package contains the serial cable, is it worth getting that
package for PC use? I have used a Sharp Wizard for the
last 2 years, but the Zoomer dropped so much in price, 199, that
it beared looking at. Thankx for the help.
