The normal process I go through
- If the 'work's' owner can be found I request use of the work as they have
copywrite.
- If it is an E-Text Book known to be public-domain, I give credit to where
it was obtained
- If it is an original work I copywrite the material
- If the work is for general use I normally release it as freeware unless it
is public domain, then it stays that way, even though it is now is reader
format.
