I don't want to steal any of NealK's thoughts or thunder, but PlamConnect,
GEOS, GeoPublish, Ensemble or anything dealing with your Desktop Access to
your Zoomer that you are trying to run under Windows '95 will work. Here are
a few words from Neal...

reinstall and using setup, I found that if I delete the geos_act.ive file
and reboot my computer from my A: drive using dos 6.2, then I could get
Geoworks to run.... Any Sugestions?

There are a handful of out-of-the-way DOS products which cannot be run from
Windows95. GEOS 2.0 is not one of them.

Your primary problem right now is that you forgot to run SETVER at a command
prompt. SETVER needs to be run once when operating Ensemble on any MS-DOS
version greater than 5.0 (Windows95 includes MS-DOS 7.0).

C:>SETVER LOADER.EXE 5.0 [enter]

This will cure the "no valid font files" problem.

Forget about DOS 6.2. Do this from inside Windows95. If you do not yet know
how to launch a DOS window, look to see if you have an "MS-DOS Prompt" in
your Start/Programs menu. If not, choose Start/Run and type COMMAND. Change
directory to your C:\ root directory and run the above line. Windows will
tell you that it has updated the information. Close the window by clicking on
the X. Close any other open program. Choose Start/Shutdown/Restart Computer.
When you're back in 95, you should be able to launch Ensemble successfully.

Go to Software Library Top Picks on the main Geoworks window and download
"Geoworks Ensemble and Windows95," which provides additional diagnostics and
"double checks."
