yes. Palm tech support has been helpful, but they have not been able to
pin point the problem (I have sent them copies of my autoexec.bat and
config.sys and other configuration details, but sofar, this has not
imporved the reliability/stability of the product on my 486. They have now
offered to send me a new copy of their PalmConnect software, on the
assumption that my original set of 2 disks was somehow corrupted.

If/WHEN I get palmConnect to work reliably on my 486, the problem will be
solved, in that PalmExport will reside on my PC, and will do
Zoomer-to-ascii translations.

Incidentally, I also just got a msg from another user telling me that he
runs PalmExport on his Zoomer(something PalmConnect does not seem to
encourage), thus he is able to translate zoomer files into ascii files right
on hiszoomer, then of course, can use zdos.com on the PC to import the ascii
file from the zoomer into the PC.
