Barry and all,

I sent a private e-mail to Margo essentially saying some of this. The
main point is that even if Casio didn't ever intend the zoomer to be used
as it is the plain fact is that most people ARE using these tweaks and
aftermarket things. It would only behoove Casio and other companies in
this position to listen to what the consumers are doing. While I
understand that Casio cannot accept any responsibilty for any non-stock
things we are doing with our zoomers they (Casio) should understand that
we ARE going to do them. I'm sure that Margo and others at Casio have a
vast amount of knowledge regarding the zoomer. I mean we're talking about
a couple of hundred dollars here right? If my machine went up in a puff
of smoke tomorrow because of some bad thing I did to it it would still be
worth it for the entertainmenet and knowledge I've gained so far. Not to
mention I'd simply go out and buy another. The whole thing just came
across like IBM selling a machine and saying that if you run any
Microsoft applications on it then the warranty is null and void, or maybe
that you could ONLY run Microsoft apps....
