The same thing happened to me when I tried running it. It also crashes
fairly often when I open large files (30-60k). I do have 2-3 applications
open already when I start the text editor, so it may be running out of
memory or heap space. If that is the problem, it would have been nice for
it to warn you to close other applications before it lets you open a
large file.

I got the new text editor from ftp.biostat.washington.edu. Putting it in my
expert+ mode GridPad 2390 and running it results in an error about full
memory below 640K. A retry gives no result and I have to choose the
reset and set up the machine again. Has this happened to anyone else?
What can I do to fix it? I have it sitting in the C:\geoworks\world; would it
be better in b:\?

TIA!
