Usually you need to place them in B:\GEOWORKS\USERDATA\HELP. However, I want to
converse space on B (actually, now that I think about it, in Expert mode is it
better to have more space on B -- I remember someone mentioning entering:
memory = disk.geo
into one if the .INI files, but this caused me problems so I got rid of it. It
was supposed to swap memory to the B drive. However, without it, I'm starting to
think that the exess space on the B drive is not used for memory swapping -- am
I right in thinking this?
Anyway, onto the previous question, since I've got a lot of space on the RAM
card, I want to place the help files on it. I seem to recall posts saying that
if you create a folder on Drive C that the OS first goes to Drive B and then to
C to look for such files. I tried this and it didn't work. Any clues, tips,
etc.?
