There are two solutions for retrieving e-mail on the road that I know of
at this time.

1. Use a PCMCIA or serial modem connected to your OmniGo, and either the
TERM.IZL software which comes with the IZL interpreter from John Feras
(http://www.netaxs.com/~jferas/, I think) or the OgComm program to dial
into your email system and read email. I use the former to get into my
Unix account and run "mailx" to read my mail. This is a bit awkward
because of the small screen (I configure the Unix host to think I have
an 8 line by 80 column screen and that seems to work OK), but it does
work.

2. Sign up for WyndMail (http://www.wynd.net/wynd/). This is a wireless
email service with client software for Windows, Mac, and OmniGo.
However, for those who do not want (or cannot afford the $500 for) the
wireless modem option, they also have an 800 number for dialin access.
This is the route I will be taking in the near future, since WyndMail
also allows me to send/receive pages and voicemail messages, and send
faxes from my OGO. And at some point, I probably will get the wireless
modem; for now, though, I plan to use the dial-in client with my
Megahertz 14.4 PCMCIA modem.
