Actually, Mat I've been kicking around the idea of decoding the address book file format for the last couple of weeks; so yes there are others interested! If as Bob has suggested, it's possible to get the format from Palm by signing an NDA that's fine and maybe we should proceed that way. But for the health of the Zoomer going forward, I think we should not let Palm's refusal to release the format stop us from decoding the format. For several years I made a 'good' living at selling programs and services that leveraged a program I wrote that could read the AutoCAD proprietary drawing format. This address book format can't be any more complicated than AutoDesk's. Anybody else want to collaborate? My reasons for wanted to be able to decode the address book is so that I can take a copy on a PC and convert it to a format that can be used to print a hard copy of all the addresses in the Zoomer.
