Yep, The modem will draw close to the maximum 50ma of current from the
PCMCIA port. 1 to 2hours of use can sure place a drain. Try using an AC
adapter when using the modem for extended periods.

It works fine, except that the default looks for a Flash or SRAM card in the
PCMCIA slot during reboot (when the Zoomer starts from a reset and the first
time the EXP+ mode is placed on the zoomer). With out the PCMCIA card the
zoomer goes into a "Retry, abort, fail" mode that will not respond to a
power off or anything. If this happens you need to do a hard reset
"reset+A+B" which will wipe all files from the zoomer and reload (So backup
all of your files first before exp+ your Zoomer). If you have an SRAM or
FLASH no problem. Otherwise you'll need to edit the config.sys file before
loading it on the Zoomer.
