Hi,
That sounds like a problem with the configuration of the Zoomer. The default mode does not support windowing, except for Desktop Accessories. The Lector program requires the windowing in order to allow you to use the custom buttons.

A suggestion is to use a menu bar to allow for these options. Maybe a later release will do this.
