I know that it doesn't have the processor of a TI-85, but a graphing
program would be really handy. I've seen one for Windows, I imagine one
could be implimented for Geos. It would probably be too big to fit on a
Zoomer without a memory card, but I was planning on investing in one of
those someday anyway.
Here's something that's been bugging me. Can you only use a 14.4
PCMCIA modem on a Zoomer? Why is the baud rate for the serial port limited
to 9600 in geoworks, but when it drops to dos it can go at 19200? Can a
14.4 PCMCIA go to the full baud rate, or is it limited to 9600?
I also know that there are only a few PCMCIA modems that will work on a
zoomer because it's limited to 50ma. What are these modems and their street
price? Is there a terminal program for the zoomer that supports ANSI or
even ASCII?
Ok, here's a new one. With all these processor upgrades coming out,
why isn't one being made for the Zoomer? It is X86 compatible, an upgrade
must be possible. Don't you wish your zoomer was a little faster sometimes?
I realize that there are a lot of questions here, 90% were probably
discussed already. If you don't feel like bringing them up again, please
just e-mail me with the answer, or point me in the right direction.
Thanks,
Nathan Lewis
