Heh. Um, you might like to examine what the media has had to say during
the early phases of revolutions like PCs, the Xerox Star, Unix, open
systems, the Internet, GNU, HTML, etc ... the press are mostly technical
dopes who pretty-much regurgitate what they're fed by the marketeers.
When a technology matures, then the press are anxious to tell you that
they've been predicting this all along, if only you'd listened, and so
forth. Until then, it's just some engineer's pipe-dream to them.

My advice is to go check out the URLs I posted and make up your mind for
yourself. If you don't agree - great! - I'm professionally very interested in
your reasoning.
