Java for Zoomer?

Java is sun's amazing new virtual operating system (no, I won't explain
what that is - go look at http://java.sun.com/). Apparently it was
originally intended for PDA's, and of course that got me to wondering -
all of the source of sun's implementation of the java virtual machine is
available, and you can either port it (but then sun get rights) or
re-implement it over GEOS - sounds like you could make a bundle doing
this, and it would be astoundingly useful. Any takers?
