Probem with my Zoomer...

The other day I was using the datebook and my Zoomer locked up. I
couldn't turn the power off, I couldn't do a soft reset, I couldn't do a
soft reset. I eventually had to pull all the batteries out, let it cool
its heels, and put the batteries back in. The Zoomer then came back on.

The problem: I then had to calibrate the screen. I could press the
upper two cross-hairs, but it wouldn't register the lower two unless I
pressed about 1/4" lower. Unfortunately all pen presses must now be
done about 1/4" lower. So, I end up at the "Congradulations" screen and
can't press any of the icons. Useless as a PDA, but it makes a good
paper-weight.

I called Tandy and they suggested I do another hard reset. I told them
I've done done this about ten times before. They told me that this was
a known flaw of the Zoomer and that my only other option was to bring
it in for service.

Any suggestions?
