The file that won't go away

Hello,

This is my first posting to the list. I got my Zoomer at the beginning
of November from Costco. It is a AST Gridpad 2390.

I made the mistake of disconnecting the serial cable while still logged
in to AOL. By the time I'd realized what had happened the connection
was lost. The Zoomer would not let me turn the power off. The AOL application
would not sign off. Eventually I started enough applications till the
Zoomer rebooted.

I now have a message in the offline mail manager which shows up in the
mail count but is always skipped over when skipping through the messages.
I thought I was able to delete it once from the file manager but, when
I went back to AOL it was back. The last couple of times I tried to delete
it from the file manager the Zoomer just froze up with an hourglass icon
on the screen. I then did a soft reset to get it back.

I can live with this but I'd like to get rid of this file.

The file is in geoworks\document\aolmail and is called 4cb0000..tmp

Any ideas on how to get rid of this without a hard reset? I don't currently
have anyway to back up my Zoomer but I hope to soon so, I'm reluctant to
try anything too risky.

Thanks,
Gary Gertley
