Then I tried ZDOS. ZDOS will link, then return with a <No Connection>
message on the PC side. IT will then allow me to do a DIR (displays only
on Zoomer, not on PC ((that may be normal))), CLS, ERASE, etc. But when
I attempt to SEND or GET any file, I get a response of "No AWK!" <No
Connection> on the PC side, and a message of "Receiving txtrdr.geo" on
the Zoomer side, but the Zoomer never receives the file, and requires me
to hit A or B to drop it out of the session. There will then be a file
TXTRDR.GEO with a size of 0 on the Zoomer.
Finally I tried Zoomcom, and this one seems to work, but it is limited to
the 2k or less file size until registered. I wanted to use the Zoomer as
an electronic book, but I don't want to buy any software until I'm sure
its worth bothering with.
Has anyone else run into these or similar problems? Any ideas what I
need to do to make Geopublish or ZDOS work correctly?
Bill
