Limits of the Address Book

Our Engineers pointed out an error in the recent Zoomer FAQ (which
probably came from my own technotes). While this may be more detail
on the subject than desired, it does give some insight into how
memory management works on the Zoomer.

The limit imposed by the Address Book is 7500 entries. However,
the available disk space and RAM memory impose their own limits.

The Book library stores the index as a contiguous chunk. A 7500
entry index requires approximately 60K bytes of contiguous RAM space
to be available on the Zoomer when the index is loaded. If there is
not enough RAM, the Zoomer will lock up(the Geos virtual memory
manager assumes there will always be enough RAM).

Also, the file space may run out of storage before the 7500 entry
limit is reached.
