According to an article on Geos 2.1 in this week's Communications Week,
Geoworks is going to put 2.1 on several new (but unnamed) PDA's early
next year. Existing PDAs will require a ROM upgrade, but no comment was
made on if Casio will be offering such an upgrade.
The article says there is a 10% performance increase, which will be
especially noticeable for multitasking and communications applications.
There is nothing new in the OS that addresses communications
specifically, however.
