How to Modify INI files

I have seen a lot of information on the list about modifying .ini files and
adding lines to config.sys, but have not found a way to actually modify the
files. Do I need additional software to do the modifications? Or does the
zoomer have an editing program of some kind, or can the notepad be used?

As a new zoomer owner, I appreciate any input.
