<<Also, if somebody need[ed] to develop a GEOS application for an 8088 PDA
and then use the same code to generate a Zoomer application (is that
possible) does he need to use the Geos code, P2000, or Zoomer to start with
(it seems there are 3 directory
on the CD).>>
- The directories you see are for the emulators based upon the PT-9000,
Zoomer, and Desktop variants for hardware and screen compatability reasons.
- Except for screen sizing (and input device manipulation) a program written
for one should run on all versions.
<<Also I noticed after installation, nothing show[s] up under Windows
application except the compuserver and the Adobe stuff, Is the only way to
see Geos file is through the file manager (how can I add geos to the Menu of
"Windows application". >>
- I think the file filter you are using may be shutting out the GEOS files.
Most of which have a ".000" file extention. All GEOS files are DOS file
format compatable and should be seen under windows or DOS.
- GEOS and any application generated with the SDK will not and are not
Windows based programs. You can build a new program item that calles the GEOS
environment, which will then allow you to run the application. Then you
should be able to shell between the "GEOS" environment and Windows.
