My roommate bought a AST GridPad this weekend at Costco for $159.95. It
is IDENTICAL to my Tandy Zoomer, that I paid $499.00 for only about four
months ago. I could have bought a spare Zoomer for what the 3 year
extended service contract cost...
Enough bitching! Many friends of mine are going to/have/or are planning
to purchase one.
For those of you who don't know what Costco is- it's a chain of
"warehouse," stores where members can buy bulk items (usually food) at
just a bit more then it would cost you to mail order if you didn't have
to pay tax... I have compiled a list of Costco addresses (for California)

I don't know if they do mail order, if so you want to order item number
