Ink on PC

I keep a few notebooks on my zoomer that have diagrams of equipment
configurations. I bought palm connect but run the applications inside
Ensenble 2.1. I tried to update a drawing on my computer, but was unable to
get ink mode to work. Is there anyway to have the mouse emulate a pen. This
all came about because I blew away the file on my zoomer (dont move a file to
the same directory on a different drive) and wanted to update and restore my
backup.
