Hi there. I'm new to this list, so if posting uuencoded binaries is
frowned upon here, my profuse apologies.

Anyway, I was browsing the past archives of the mailing list and came
across Rob Miller's program which read the directional keypad and A/B
buttons, and it got me thinking.

I'd often wished for a means of selecting whether or not to do certain
things during system boot (like copying B:\GEOS.INI into the GEOWORKS
directory. Yes, I know it's better than hanging the system with no
recourse, but it also kills settings put into GEOS.INI by other
programs).

So I wrote a little program, ASK.COM, which allows a batch file to ask
the user a yes/no question (the A button is "yes", and the B button is
"no").

In the hopes that someone else might find it useful, I'm posting it in
my next message to the list. The message will contain a uuencoded ZIP
archive containing ASK.COM and its accompanying documentation (ASK.TXT).

The program is public domain, and source code is available upon request.

And, since it wouldn't have been possible without the information he
posted to the list, I'd like to thank Dr. Miller for his work in the
area.
