The first time I tried the new MOTIF.GEO, I put it on an unstacked C:
drive and saw the speed up you mention. Eventually, I ran out of
room on the ram card and ended up stacking it. I really don't notice
much of a speed difference between the stacked and unstacked
implementations of MOTIF.GEO. I know this doesn't answer your
question about how the file is accessed, but the end result is that
it doesn't seem to make much of a performance difference. As for
your questions about Pocket Quicken and Graffiti, I can tell you that
the Graffiti file HWRROM.GEO cannot be moved off of the B: drive. I
tried it and my zoomer pooped on me. However, the help files and
tutorial can reside on your ram card.
