I thought that $79 was a pretty good price point for Graffiti. It's not a
trivial software package (like PalmUtils :-). The way I look at software prices
is this: anything around $25 is an impulse buy, $50 is a casual purchase with
little regret if you find it marginally useful, $75 is good for solid utility
programs where you really expect some lasting benefits, $100 is good for simple
applications, $150-$250 is OK for complex applications or "suites", and
anything more is ridiculous unless you're making money from using it (like you
run your business with an accounting package or develop software products with
a compiler/debugger package).

I haven't tried the trial package, but placed an order for the product within
hours of hearing about it. The order entry folks told me that they don't have
it in stock yet, but expect to ship in two weeks or so. That was a little
disappointing -- I was hoping to get it more or less instantaneously :-).
