Pocket Quicken Connect Problems

For those of you who have been following my problems with KR-9/KR-6 errors
and serial timeout errors, After numerous calls to Intuit I, with the help of
a great technical suppport person named Ceasar, may have found the answer to
the problem and I want to share it so that if some other poor soul is
unfortunate enough to have the same problem, you might remember this
situation and be able to answer him/her with another possiblility. It looks
as thought the header files in PDA Quicken became corrupted and lost their
pointers. This is not a happy situation and is only solved by purging the
records and re-entering all of the data again. I have suggested to Ceasar
that maybe Intuit could consider putting an option in the program that would
decode the PalmConnect back up Quicken account files on the PC side. That
way, there would be a fail safe route, in the event that the files become
corrupted. He seemed to think that Intuit would be open to this suggestion. I
dont know how often this type of thing happens, but it caused me quite a
bit of frustration. Intuit sent me updated disks--that didnt work so I
returned my first Z-7000 thinking that it was a hardware problem. Finally,
after waiting one hour long distance on the telephone to talk to Intuit
again, I did get some help from Ceasar and hopefully, the answer but my
telephone bill is not going to make me happy next month!
