WWW:
It works. I've done it with GeoComm's VT100 emulation. Only problem is
cursor keys. I created two text files on my computer called UP.TXT and
DN.TXT which contain the escape codes for up and down (left & right are
in the Graffiti window box). Then I goto the shell prompt and write
"LYNX xxxx" and viola!- WWW. Oh, you need to go "send text file" for the
cursor keys. The graphics? Who cares! You don't use WWW to see
graphics! Even if you could, 2-shade monochrome never looked all *that*
great.
Fax:
Buy PenRight!. For ~$80, you get a PIM package, games, a
x/y/zmodem/kermit/vt100 terminal program and a send fax program. I never
had much use for faxes, so...
Remote control:
Give me a break! A remote control is very good at being a remote
control. Even on palmtops like the HP95/100/200LX, the remote control
program was never a success. And for all you armchair commandos out
there, Casio makes a watch with a remote control on it. Personally, when
I want to change the channel, I pick up the remote, point it at the TV,
and push the button.
