Here is something interesting:

AT+FTM=n: Transmit data using the modulation defined below (ie, AT+FTM=3
is V.21 channel 2300 bps)

AT+FRM=n: Recieve data like above

AT+FTH=n: Transmit data with HDLC framing- causes the modem to transmit
data using HDLC protocal and the modulation described below.

AT+FRH=n: Recieve data with HDLC framing

I don't know if it'll help us Zoomer users who want to fax, but it shows
that at least some capabilities are built-in.
