Hi, have you sent the modem initialization string from zcom to the modem?
There is also a command you can send which will check the modem (you should
be able to find that in your modem manual). I had problems, too, but with
AOL, not zcom (although I had to reinstall zcom twice to get it to run right)
I wound up taking the set up string from zcom and putting that into aol
to get that to run. The only other thing I've noticed is that in order to
get everything to really reset, I have to quit out completely from the app.
I'm running, (I even shut down the zoomer) and turn off the modem...
