I don't know about a comeback of the C64 but maybe an appreciation of the
roots of us GEOS users. I got the GEOS software for my C64 which added about
3+ years of life to my C64. When the C64 was first sold, who would have
thought that it would have a half meg of RAM added to is and a mouse working
under a graphic environment doing really impresive desktop publishing. A lot
of my skills on desktop publishing stated with my humble C64. (And I sure
miss it.) The individuals at back then Berkley Software (now GeoWorks) sure
know what they were doing. I now use GEOS on my 286 PC and I am able to
provide quality desktop publishing products. Combined with the Zoomer I have
the best of both worlds.
