Glitch when writing on the screen.

Hi,
occasionally when I am writing on the screen of my zoomer using either
the handwriting recognition or the graffiti trial version I get a
glitch which causes a crazy squiggle to appear which is nothing like
what I am writing, also sometimes when I am writing the pen is still in
contact with the screen but no ink appears. Are these common problems
that people have learned to live with or is this something that I
should have seen to.
