I still haven't got the 'technical-manual' for the Zoomer yet. Anyway,
I am interested to study more on the IR port. Would somebody with the
manual be kindly enough to tell me:
1. CPU - I know that it uses a NEC 8086 compatible. I need the IC
number. NEC processors usually starts with uPd.
2. The IR controller chip. I assume that it uses one. I have seen an
HP chip being used somewhere for IR. This chip is the one that
translate the SIO signal to IR..I think..
May be all of us can gain something from this..I know that there are a
number of Electronics Engineers out there..
