As to getting an Internet account, most are cheaper than you think. The
average cost these days is $25 per month for shell, $35 for SLIP/PPP.
And usually if it's a local dial-in you either have no limit on hours per
month or the figure is so high you'll never reach it (unless you're on
all day like me.)
