Any External modem that will work with a desk-top computer to connect to AOL will work with your Zoomer and AOL.
- The key is to ensure you have the correct Pre-Modem string to tell the modem that you are going to connect at 2400. Most 9.6 lines will fall-back to 2400 when that's all the modem will connect with.
- Consult your modem manual for the proper string, everything else should fall into place.
